Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality software

• Best practice development and deployment

• Live platform support, maintenance and monitoring

• Internal support and bug fixing for existing codebase

• Co-ordination of development resources

• SQL report creation for senior management Knowledge and

Experience:

• Strong experience in Magento Development

• Good experience in MVC and object orientated PHP

• HTML & CSS incl. responsive techniques

• JavaScript frameworks incl. The prototype, jQueryQunit angular, backbone, etc.

• LAMP or LEMP server administration incl. performance tuning

• A confident approach to best practice for Magneto and PHP development

• Research and documentation skills

• Integration with 3rd parties such as shipping providers, payment gateways and marketing/CRM systems

• Database design and maintenance skills in MySQL

• Scrum, Agile, TDD and CI

• Experience of onboarding, mentoring and team-leading

• Exposure to high volume e-commerce and dealing with spikes in traffic

• HTML & CSS incl. responsive techniques required
