| Job Description: |
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Solid knowledge of design and development of web applications in PHP/CodeIgnitor/MySQL using Wordpress.
- Write “clean”, well designed FRONT end and BACK end code using a range of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript etc
- Analyze and adapt existing software to meet customer needs.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Experience with cross-platform and cross-browser website testing
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT.
- 2+ year of experience working with a combination of PHP, MySQL, CodeIgnitor and one or more of the following development languages: C, C#, VB, .NET, and/or Java.
- 2+ years of experience working with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS
- Proven Object Oriented programming experience in PHP.
- Must be proficient in both FRONT-END and BACK-END development.
- Powerful understanding and implementation on open source projects: Wordpress.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Proficient in Unit testing, Load testing, Page load optimization and Responsive design.
Key skills:
- Experience developing in an MVC framework
- Complex SQL queries and database schema design.
- Experience configuring and maintaining virtual servers
- Experience configuring IIS web servers
- Experience working with XML and web services.
- Experience using version control systems for code integrity

- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
