| Job Description: |
- Work closely with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, accountants, insurance underwriters, solicitors, and courts and with financiers.
- Controlling cost during the construction process.
- Valuing construction work for interim payments, valuing change, assessing, or compiling claims for loss and expense and agreeing final accounts.
- Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of works, specification, and all contact documentation, ensuring that these comply with the project brief and timescale, budget estimated, all relevant legislation, regulation, and policies. Manage associated contractual issues.
- Manage and value variations.
- Agreement and certification of sub-contractors’ interim valuation and final accounts.
- Assist the commercial leader and other Quantity Surveyors in all the pre and post contract functions.
- Inter department liaison to resolve and close actions
- Support in the contract administration of multiple contracts.
