People ™ is an international HR Services company operating in Pakistan and serving domestic and multi-national client organizations across all HR functions. We are looking for a Assistant Director Finance for our Head Office Lahore.
Job Role and Duties:
- Review, redesign and implement accounting business processes.
- Accounts Management (Monitoring & Review of Monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual accounts).
- Maintain existing relationships with banks and onboarding new financial institutions to cater financial needs of the organization.
- Responsible for Portfolio / Funds Management (Investments, Cashflows / running finance, loan restructuring). Accurate business analysis from all applicable business processes.
- Responsible for company-wide budegtary planning. Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department. Budgeted vs actual monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annually analysis.
- Comprehensive reporting on the company's financial performance to the management (financial statements, balance sheets, cash flows reports etc.).
- Seek out methods and practices to minimize financial risk.
Qualifications and Skills:
- CA / ACCA or relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in any listed or public company.
- Should be able to work independently and improve the entity's system and controls.
- Highly energetic and motivating team player.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
- Must possess good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
