The COO will play a pivotal role in the team – enhancing our ability to translate bold ideas into rigorous plans and effective delivery, leading our operational development, honing our approach to project and programme management, and enabling us to mature as an organization and maximize our impact.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Highly developed leadership and team building skills with the ability to quickly earn and maintain the trust of a team.

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Property Management best practices and administrative skills.

• Flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

• Experience working with Housing and operating agreements.

• Discipline and knowledge to know, prioritize, and set in place procedures and processes.

• Well organized, detail orientated, and able to multi-task is a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of IT systems with the ability to make recommendations and oversee the implementation of new IT systems.

• Excellent understanding of asset management best practices and processes as it relates to properties and buildings.

• Comprehensive understanding of Property Management with the ability to dissect, read, and make sound decisions based on financial feedback mechanisms.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years’ experience as the operational lead in a residential Property Management setting.

• Post-secondary degree in a related field (business, management etc.) with some formal Property Management training. Master’s degree or management/administrative  designation a bonus.

• Experience managing and working with BC Housing Operating Agreements.

• Strong understanding of Tehsil Municipal Authority & Revenue Department processes.

 • Experience using Property Management software.

• Excellent IT skills including comprehensive experience with the Office 365 suite
