Responsibilities

• Review and analyze the result of the development team and compare it with the project requirements or design templates.

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

• Create logs to document testing phases and defects

• Report bugs and errors to development teams and document how to reproduce the errors.

• Help troubleshoot issues

• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• 1-3 years minimum experience in working on QA related tasks.

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

• Knowledge about different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other.

• Experience in developing own automated tests (e.g. Selenium).

• Experience with web security technology.

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases.

• Knowledge of Cross-Platform, cross-browser, cross-device testing.

• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML/CSS/JS, HTTP(S).

• Know how to use Browser dev tools and debug websites.

• Experience in web page speed analyses (e.g. Google page speed). You should be able to know, what the recommendations of such tools mean.

Nice to have

• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor.

• Strong skills in project management.
